Saint Nektarios of Aegina is renowned for his holiness, miracles and writings, particularly within the Greek Orthodox tradition. He is widely regarded as a wonderworker and healer, especially for those suffering from diseases. His life is also associated with the founding of the Convent of the Holy Trinity on Aegina, where he spent his final years and is buried.
