A beautiful brass and mother of pearl vigil oil lamp - Kandili. The Vigil lamp comes with a red glass vessel to hold the oil and water and light. The Kandili features a brass cross at the top and a removable lid. It can be displayed open or closed.
Vigil lamps or Kandilia as they are known in Greek, are kept lit in a home to represent the light of Jesus and for prayer and faith.
Measures 20cm tall
As each Kandili is hand made, minor imperfections may occur which add beauty and uniqueness to this lovely vessel.
